Cairo is about to welcome one of the world’s most ambitious and eagerly awaited museums: the Great Egyptian Museum.
Located at the foot of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Pyramids of Giza, the Great Egyptian Museum will house the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the treasure of Tutankhamun. Designed to offer an immersive, modern experience, the museum integrates state-of-the-art technologies to present Egyptian history and culture in an interactive way. This veritable masterpiece, with its impressive architecture and vast exhibition spaces, required a Pharaonic amount of work, the unfortunate consequence of which was the constant postponement of the long-awaited opening date (which has still not been announced).
Thanks to La Fugue’s accomplices, it is possible to visit the museum in advance (before the official opening), but this is limited to the building’s corridors. In order to offer you a complete and privileged experience, La Fugue has decided to postpone its visit to Egypt. We’ll be sure to keep the more patient among you informed if you’d like to sign up for this unique experience.
