As summer approaches, Munich is irresistible. During beautiful and clear days, the Bavarian city lives in open air and is full of life. One can take a stroll in the verdant English Garden which runs along the Isar river, or contemplate the striking Gallerye of Beauties in Nymphenburg Palace. The collections of the Old Pinacotheca are extraordinary (Dürer, Rubens, El Greco…) but why not also drink a refreshing beer at the Hofbräuhaus, one of the most famous brewery in the world ?

In the evening, we invite you to an exceptional representation of Tosca. For some year now, the Munich Opera imposes itself as one of the beacon of today’s lyrical world. Each of its new productions is expected worldwide, and this Tosca staged by cineast Kornél Mundruczó is no exception. The vocal distribution gathers the elite of international singing : Eleonora Buratto, Charles Castronovo and Ludovic Tézier. Grandiose !

Replacing the staging of Luc Bondy, the production of Tosca by Kornél Mundruczó is a major event of the musical world. the Hungarian filmmaker has made a name these past few years with remarkable shows, like in Berlin or Geneva. In the title-roles, the evening gathers three singers that every opera houses wish to have : Anja Harteros as Tosca, Charles Castronovo as Mario and Ludovic Tézier as Scarpia !
