Japan is a country with a thousand-faces which embodies a cultural and artistic richness of a rare intensity. From its ancestorial rituals to its most contemporary forms of expression, it offers a creativity-filled kaleidoscope, where every detail holds sense. Here, art is lived in a calligraphy stroke as well as in the architecture of a temple or the staging of a meal.

But what gives an even more peculiar aura to Japan are its splendid gardens, true lively works of art. Thought as microcosms of the world, they invite to contemplation, harmony and silence. Each stone, each moss, each reflection in water is placed with an almost spiritual intention.

Your itinerary in the center of Japan will be articulated in the surroundings of Tokyo, vibrating megalopolis where the forefront rubs shoulders with traditions ; Hakone, haven of nature and hot springs, of sublime outlooks on the Mount Fuji ; Nara, spiritual cradle of the country, accommodating holy fallow deer and millennial temples ; Naoshima and Teshima, Museum-Islands bathed into light, dedicated to contemporary art ; and Kyoto, previous imperial capital, guardian of temples, geishas and Zen gardens. Five atmospheres, for a complete immersion in the Japanese spirit.

Traveling to Japan in December offers a unique experience, at the same time poetic, cultural and soothing, far from crowds, with an often-bright sky and a gentle light that sublimes the urban landscapes like natural ones.
