GODS AND DOGS, by J. Kylián et C. Pite

Jiří Kylián : Choreography

Crystal Pite : Choreography

Like many works in which dance becomes a universal language, Jiří Kylián‘s Gods and Dogs probes the enigmatic boundary between reason and chaos, between mastery and abandonment. Created in 2008, this ballet draws its essence from an ancient reflection, one that associates madness with a spark of divine essence. Set to a score in which the gravity of Beethoven blends with modern sounds, the moving bodies embody a permanent tension, that of a humanity in search of balance, always on the edge. With its sets reduced to the essentials and its lights sculpting every space, the work transcends the stage, reconnecting with those great timeless questions that whisper in the ear of the soul.

After the show, dinner in one of our selected restaurants.

Return to the hotel.
